On the unfolded inner display your list stays on the left and the player opens on the right. The split sits on the fold, so nothing is cut in half.

Tabletop: picture up, controls down
Stand it half-folded and the video fills the upper half. Pause, skip, the progress bar and, for live TV, the channel list move below the fold.

Hold it like a book: Home or your channel grid on the left page, playback on the right.

On the outer display the app keeps the iPhone layout, with the tab bar along the edge within reach of your thumb.
